Throughout his time with Austin FC, goalkeeper Brad Stuver has become a fan favorite for his play on the field and his involvement with the community off it. Now in his fourth year with the team, Stuver is having perhaps his best season yet. He’s getting attention as a potential MLS All-Star because of it.

Midway through the season, Stuver ranks second in MLS in goals against average (4.52). He also ranks third in save percentage (78 percent). Stuver is the only goaltender in the league to rank among the top three in both major barometers that measure how much a goaltender is helping their team. He has ranked among the top eight in goals against average in each of the last three seasons.

Stuver’s 78 saves rank first among MLS goaltenders by some distance. The next closest goalie is 15 saves behind the Austin goalie. He’s also reliable on the ball when called upon, averaging the second most assists per game of any GK in the league (30.27).
