La Federación Costarricense de Fútbol (Costa Rica Football Federation) announced on Saturday the 26 players called up to the Costa Rican Men’s National Team for a pair of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June, with Austin FC defender Julio Cascante appointed to the squad.
Cascante will join Costa Rica for the games against St. , Grenada.
Cascante has six (6) previous international caps for Costa Rica and scored his first career international goal on September 12, 2023 against the United Arab Emirates.
