We ranked the top 25 college football recruits regardless of high school graduating class, with No. 1 rising senior (QB Bryce Underwood) versus No. 1 rising junior (DE Jahkim Stewart).

While the 2025 ESPN 300 and 2026 ESPN Junior 300 are represented, we also dive into the rising sophomores in the 2027 class and even the freshmen in the 2028 class.

From February through May, we watched all of these high-level prospects compete across the country through film study and scouting camps. This list is an evaluation of the eye test, but combines character traits, field production and test data.

And like all rankings, they are fluid, so players can rise or fall as they are based on the players’ potential impact at the college level. We also provide a player comparison for each recruit — and some of these players are on their way to blossoming into the future stars they emulate.
